Do your health food really healthy?

The world becomes more health conscious every year. Food companies make what is called health food products, fast food industries try to make a healthier menu, and people make a smarter choice in terms of their food.

This is extraordinary and very much needed with obesity continues to affect more families. It is still a challenge to eat properly with all “health food” choices and the media dictates what we see as healthy. Every day I see advertisements and articles that promote food products that are really not the best choice. From high fructose corn syrup to 100 calorie snack packages, people are being excluded into poor health options. Traveling weight loss and search for 6 packs of ABS is constantly more difficult.

The easiest way to avoid all this and keep on a healthier path is eating natural foods that have not been changed by humans. This shopping list will include fresh meat, vegetables, and fruits, raw beans, and poorly changed dairy products. This can be a difficult thing to do, because most of the food on shelves has been influenced by humans with one way or another.

For that reason I will give you three things to pay attention to the next time you go to the grocery store so you can make a smarter and healthier choice for you and your family:

# 1: Food Source

This can be a little tricky but many stores are getting better to provide this information. If you have access to a health food store, you will not have a problem, but even the kroger shop is getting better.

Note where the food you buy comes from. This is more related to meat and animal products than other items. Many food companies use hormones and eating processes for their animals that can affect the quality of meat.

The hormone added to animals to make it grow larger can be absorbed into our bodies so we eat meat, disrupt our hormone balances and process our body.

Find more natural meat fed grass and free hormones. The same applies with seafood; Try to find more natural sources and not closed water fish. This meat will not only be healthier but it will also be fresher and feel better.

# 2: Material

When buying food, pay attention to the ingredients. Many times the food will claim healthy because of the number of calories but in reality the calories are quite unhealthy.

Calories are important, but as important, are food quality. In general, the lower the amount of material the better food. If you take a 100-calorie snack package you will see a long list of materials while with more natural foods such as vegetables there is only one material.

If you reduce the amount of material in your kitchen, you will improve quality.

# 3: sodium

Sodium is one of the things that many people overlooked. It plays a large part not only in weight loss but also heart health, joint health, and overall health. It kills your way towards success with water retention and a mood that has decreased as a whole.

Many foods have added sodium to increase the shelf life. Only about every canned food will have a large number of sodium, which is why canned foods last long. Start see your sodium content and try to limit your intake to less than 1500mg per day. For example, “low sodium” soup has 900 mg of sodium. If it’s “low” then I will hate looking normal!
